Port Canaveral is home to an excellent fleet of sport fishing charters boats and is considered to be one of the safest ocean inlets on the entire East Coast. Port Canaveral is less than an hour drive from the Disney World, Sea World, and the Orlando International Airport. The Port area is a recreational paradise, with plenty for the entire family. It’s Jetty Park features 3000 feet of sandy white beach, RV, and tent camping. It also has a 1200-foot lighted fishing pier and boardwalk. Boat launching ramps are available with several marinas and tackle shops located within the port. The Port Cove features several excellent seafood restaurants for dining and cocktails.
